I am an educator (teacher, trainer, counselor). I teach, I work with children, teenagers, and adults in formal and non-formal contexts, both locally and internationally. My interdisciplinary background enables me to combine my knowledge in different fields in order to deliver lessons, workshops, and trainings.
I always knew I wanted to work in the educational and social sectors.
I haven't got children of my own, but I'm always learning and developing thanks to the ones I work with.
It means being able to do what I like, to put my skills and passion to use for those I deliver programs for, whilst at the same time making sure I look after myself, in line with the saying "You cannot pour from an empty cup."
Being a mentor means empathy, compassion, anticipating and understanding the needs of my clients, being an active listener and adapting my services so as to best serve the interest of my clients, as well as creating and maintaining an environment where they feel they are safe, supported and encouraged to grow.
You were born to be real, not to be perfect.
